Many browsers are supporting Geolocation.  It is a way for your browser to tell a website about your physical location, so you can get search results tailored to where you actually are.

We created this page to raise awareness our users about Geolocation feature.  It might be helpful, if you wish to get results tailored to your location. Or it might be harmful if you do not want to disclose own location and want to have anonymous web surfing.

If your browser supports Geolocation and your setting allows tracking location, you will see breakdown of the data about your location on this page.  If you do not want to have this feature turn on, you need to change the setting for your browser.

Assume that you decided to try Geolocation during visiting this page and clicked on “Allow” button (might be different name for different browsers) on the bar which will drop down from the top of the webpage. By doing this you enabled Geolocation feature in your browser.  Later you need to check and change the setting of your browser in order to disable Geolocation feature if you do not want to have it active.
